Job summary

Jobgether in Canada is seeking a Security & Infrastructure Engineer to own the security, compliance, and infrastructure foundations behind AI systems deployed in heavy industry. You will lead ongoing SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 programs while strengthening cloud and internal engineering environments.

Qualifications

• Security engineering and infrastructure experience in cloud environments.
• Experience with SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 programs.
• Ability to implement controls via infrastructure‑as‑code and IAM policies.
• Strong written communication for audit narratives and runbooks.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands‑on experience.
• Familiarity with AI governance and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO 27001 audit readiness and evidence collection.
• Triage security findings across cloud posture, code scanning, dependencies, and secrets.
• Implement remediation through IaC, IAM policies, and CI/CD controls.
• Administer identity and access; manage SSO, federation, and least privilege.
• Collaborate with auditors and customer security teams for reviews.
• Harden CI/CD pipelines and software supply chain controls.
• Diagnose production issues in cloud, containers, and networking; document root causes.
• Create runbooks, control narratives, risk assessments, and audit responses.
• Grow security maturity and scalability with engineering teams.
