Job summary

Kardow in Toronto is seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AWS-based solutions. You will build serverless apps, RESTful APIs, and microservices, leveraging IaC and CI/CD to deliver scalable, secure cloud workloads.

You will collaborate with architecture, security, and operations teams, monitor production systems with CloudWatch, and drive cost efficiency while ensuring high availability.

Qualifications

• Design cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Build serverless solutions with Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge.
• Develop RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Implement IaC using CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform.
• Design scalable, secure AWS solutions.
• Optimize performance, cost, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Work with S3, DynamoDB, RDS, ECS/EKS, SQS, SNS.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline.
• Monitor production environments using CloudWatch and observability tools.
• Collaborate with development, architecture, security, and operations teams.
