Job summary

Summit Air is seeking an experienced Avro RJ Captain to lead safe, efficient operations across Northern Canada with a strong focus on customer service and safety.

We are expanding in Quebec and inviting local pilots to join our team in Montreal or Ottawa. The role requires a Canadian ATPL, 4000 hours total time, 2500 MPIC, and the ability to travel with RAIC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Current Canadian ATPL required.
• Minimum 4000 hours total time.
• 2500 MPIC (greater than 5700 kg) required.
• 500 jet hours considered an asset.
• High Arctic experience an asset.
• Glass cockpit experience an asset.
• Passport with ability to travel to US and Europe.
• Ability to obtain RAIC.
• Strong commitment to safety culture.
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing clearance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently as PIC in Northern Canada.
• Stay current with weather, NOTAMs, and verify type A flight plans.
• Participate in pre-flight and post-flight duties.
