Qualifications

• Current Canadian ATPL.
• 4000 hours total time.
• 2500 MPIC (≥5700 kg).
• 500 hours on jet aircraft is an asset.
• High Arctic experience an asset.
• Glass cockpit experience an asset.
• Passport with ability to travel to the United States and Europe.
• Ability to obtain Canadian Area Identity Card (RAIC).
• Pre-employment drug & alcohol testing requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Essential Responsibilities

• Operate Avro RJ aircraft safely and efficiently throughout Northern Canada as PIC
• Stay current with all available flight information, including weather, and applicable NOTAMs where available, and verify type A flight plans for accuracy
• Participate in the aircraft pre-flight inspection, as well as all post-flight duties
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to Summit Air's safety culture
