Job summary

PrimeFlightAviation Services, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Specialist to manage and maintain accurate stock levels to support airport operations.

You will perform forklift tasks, conduct regular audits, and collaborate with procurement and logistics to ensure timely receiving and dispatching of supplies. Bilingual English/French communication is required, and previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and French.
• Hold a valid forklift license.
• Experience in inventory, warehouse, or logistics preferred.
• Experience with inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inventory levels to ensure essential supplies are available for airport operations.
• Operate forklift following safety procedures and perform equipment checks.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain detailed inventory records using inventory management software.
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics to order and receive supplies on time.
• Establish and maintain efficient inventory control systems and auto reordering.
• Collaborate with maintenance, operations, and other departments to understand inventory needs.
• Monitor usage trends to optimize stock levels and forecast requirements.
• Develop strategies to reduce excess inventory and waste.
• Generate reports detailing inventory levels and projections for management.
• Resolve inventory issues including supplier delays or damaged goods.
• Support and promote the company’s Safety Management System (SMS).
