Job summary

Samsic Assistance Canada Inc. is seeking a Human Resource Business Partner to support the VP, Talent and People across five Canadian stations.

The role emphasizes unionized governance, collective agreements, and employment legislation, with a focus on advisory services and investigations. You will partner with managers to implement HR programs, drive employee relations initiatives, and support recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years progressive HR experience.
• Experience in unionized environments.
• Experience supporting multiple Canadian locations.
• bilingual English-French required.
• Aviation industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support across multiple provinces and manage employee relations.
• Coach managers on employment terms, policies, and disciplinary actions.
• Lead labour relations initiatives and investigations when required.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and employee experience initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR systems vendors and ensure data accuracy and compliance.
