Job summary

Nova Scotia Health Authority is seeking Nurse Practitioners to provide comprehensive clinical care across a range of primary health care settings in Nova Scotia. NPs will diagnose, order tests, interpret results, prescribe medications, and work autonomously or with the team to ensure timely, person-centered care.

Positions are available at numerous locations across the province, with permanent, assignments, and casual relief opportunities.

Qualifications

• Masters' of Nursing – Advanced Nursing Practice stream.
• Registered with the NSNMR with active-practicing status, eligible for NP license in Nova Scotia.
• Current Certification in BCLS or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical care as MRHCP in designated service areas.
• Diagnose, order/interpret labs and imaging, prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with the health care team to deliver person- and family-centered care.
• Manage holistic patient needs across physical/biologic/psychologic/spiritual domains.
