The program provides patients who are registered with the program access to a network of family doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners throughout the province - offering in-person, telephone and online appointments in both official languages.
As part of NBHL, your role is vital in our province's overall health. Join an integrated team of health care professionals, dedicated to providing New Brunswickers with outstanding, highly coordinated primary health care.
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a generalist who offers quality and relevant care across the health continuum and throughout the patient's lifespan, including health promotion, disease and injury, prevention, curative, supportive, rehabilitative, and palliative care within an interdisciplinary team of health providers.
The service model is based on the principles of primary health care with the goal of supporting communities in meeting their health care needs.
As a key member of the NB Health Link team, the NP is responsible and accountable for their practice and professional conduct while working in collaboration with physicians to ensure quality and relevant care.
As an EM/ANB employee, the NPs are accountable to our patients and families and co-workers by participating in and supporting safety related initiatives as well as acting in a manner that fosters a culture of learning. Safety for patients, caregivers, and workplace are kept the priority.
