Fountain Tire Saskatoon (Millar Avenue) is seeking a responsible, safe, and dedicated Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions available. You will work in a clean, safe environment with a great team and customers, and have opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred, but training available for motivated individuals.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus with ability to build relationships with team and customers.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to provide a satisfactory driver's abstract.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift 25 kilograms consistently.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair passenger and light truck tires and wheels.
• Reset and repair TPMS.
• Maintain tire service equipment on a scheduled basis.
• Complete specialty tire work (e.g., studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen).
• Assist in inventory management through documentation and counts.
• Maintain a safe work environment for you and coworkers.

Fountain Tire Saskatoon (Millar Avenue), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

Full-time and part-time positions available.

You will be responsible for

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience is preferred, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
