Fountain Tire Saskatoon is seeking a responsible Automotive Tire Technician to join our team. We offer full-time and part-time positions with competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous tire experience preferred, but training provided.
• Knowledge of passenger and light truck tires and wheels is an asset.
• Customer-service focus with ability to build relationships.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract.
• Basic computer skills and ability to lift 25 kilograms.

Responsibilities

• Install, balance, rotate, and repair tires and wheels.
• Reset TPMS systems as needed.
• Maintain tire service equipment on schedule.
• Perform specialty tire work (studding, retread, run-flat, nitrogen).
• Assist in inventory management and annual counts.
• Maintain safety for yourself and coworkers.

Overview

Fountain Tire Saskatoon (Millar Avenue), an established automotive repair shop, is looking for a responsible, safe, and dedicated associate to join our team as an Automotive Tire Technician!

Full-time and part-time positions available

You will be responsible for:

• Installing, balancing, rotating, and repairing passenger and light truck tires and wheels
• Resetting and repairing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS)
• Maintaining tire service equipment on a regularly scheduled basis
• Completing specialty tire work which could include studding, retread, run flat, nitrogen, etc.
• Assist in inventory management through documentation processes and annual inventory counts
• The responsibility to keep yourself and your coworkers safe

What does it take to get on track?

• Someone with previous experience is preferred, however we are willing to train motivated individuals with a positive attitude
• A working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires, specialty tire services and wheels is an asset
• A customer-service focus with the ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers
• A keen attention to detail
• Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and provide a satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to consistently lift 25 kilograms
