Bruce Honda in Yarmouth, NS is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to join our full-time service team. Hourly pay ranges from $28.00 to $32.00 based on experience, with potential signing bonus eligibility and strong manufacturer training through Honda.

• Red Seal certification is required.

• A valid NS driver's license and clean driving record are necessary.

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic equipment and Honda procedures.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on Honda vehicles and other makes/models.
• Complete NS Motor Vehicle Inspections and document findings.
• Communicate repair needs with Service Advisors and customers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.

What you’ll do

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns using diagnostic equipment and manufacturer repair procedures.

Perform maintenance and repairs on Honda vehicles and other makes and models.

Complete Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspections and identify required repairs.

Document diagnostic findings, work completed and repair recommendations accurately.

Communicate with Service Advisors to help customers understand their vehicle’s needs.

Work with the service team to complete repairs efficiently and maintain high standards of workmanship.

Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow dealership and industry safety procedures.

What you bring

Red Seal certification as an Automotive Service Technician.

Valid Nova Scotia Motor Vehicle Inspection (MVI) certification.

A valid Nova Scotia driver’s licence and an acceptable driver’s abstract.

Strong automotive diagnostic and repair skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to safe, accurate repairs.

Reliability, good communication and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Honda or other dealership experience is an asset. We welcome qualified technicians with experience across different makes and service environments.
