Job summary

Pfaff Automotive Partners in Markham, ON is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician (310S) to service BMW vehicles. You will perform repairs, inspections, and diagnosis, document work to standards, and road test vehicles as required.

We value teamwork, strong customer service, and the ability to work under deadlines. Valid Ontario license with a clean driving record and the ability to drive a manual transmission are required.

Qualifications

• 310S Automotive service technician trade certification required.
• MUST maintain provincial licences and qualifications.
• Knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures.
• Knowledge of Provincial Safety Standards.
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License with clean abstract.
• Ability to drive manual transmission.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Able to work as part of a team under pressure with deadlines.
• Detail oriented and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned.
• Performs vehicle inspections and assessments including diagnosis issues.
• Documents all work performed to Manufacturer standards and/or repair orders.
• Road tests vehicles as required.
• Ensures that customer cars are kept clean.
• Attends all training courses as requested by service management.
• Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians.
