Canadian Tire Stores in Canada is seeking an Automotive Service Installer for our fast-paced Service Centre. The role includes oil and lube service, tire installation, tire rotation and balancing, and light vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for province of employment.
• Ability to handle physical demands including standing/walking for 8+ hours while frequently lifting.
• Ability to work shifts (days, evenings, week-ends and holidays).
• Knowledge of current automobile technology.
• Experience in a similar role, in a Canadian Tire Automotive Service Centre (asset).
• Good working knowledge of COSTAR (asset).

Responsibilities

• Perform customer vehicle basic maintenance and repairs, as requested (lube, oil and filter changes / remove, install, rotate and balance tires / basic repairs and inspections).
• Communicate with Service Manager/Service Advisors/Licensed Automobile Technicians and Back Parts Window Associate.
• Provide accurate estimates and written vehicle reports to the Service Advisor.
• Ensure that an unsafe vehicle is reported to management and vehicle owner.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Perform customer vehicle basic maintenance and repairs, as requested (lube, oil and filter changes / remove, install, rotate and balance tires / basic repairs, maintenance and inspections that do not require the presence of a Licensed Automobile Technician, etc.).
• Communicate with Service Manager/Service Advisors/Licensed Automobile Technicians and Back Parts Window Associate.
• Provide accurate estimates and written vehicle reports to the Service Advisor.
• Ensure that an unsafe vehicle is reported to management and vehicle owner.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
