Job summary

Magna International Limited is seeking a Quality Engineer to provide technical quality support for production concerns and new program launches. You will ensure adherence to quality standards across processes and finished goods, while leading PPAP/APQP activities and participating in warranty analyses.

The role requires 5–7 years of experience, a post-secondary engineering qualification, and preference for CQE certification and Tier 1 automotive exposure.

Qualifications

• Completion of community college diploma/certificate.
• 5-7 years of work-related experience.
• Completion of a post-secondary education program in mechanical/quality engineering.
• ASQC certification as a Quality Engineer (CQE) preferred.
• Tier 1 automotive experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead PPAP timing and approval.
• Track APQP requirements using milestones.
• Review government approvals and inspection standards.
• Lead plant trials for engineering changes and launches.
• Lead launch and warranty issue resolution for quality concerns.
• Participate in warranty reviews and supplier field support.
