Steve Marshall Group in the Campbell River area is seeking a Parts Advisor to apply automotive knowledge and customer service skills in a busy dealership department.

You will source parts, assist customers and technicians, coordinate with the Service Department, process orders and returns, and help maintain organized inventory. A valid driver’s license and high school diploma are required. Strong computer skills and familiarity with dealership management systems are assets.

Formación

• Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in an automotive parts role is preferred.
• Knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and accessories.
• Strong computer skills; experience with dealership management systems or electronic parts catalogues is an asset.
• Clear communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• A collaborative attitude and willingness to jump in when the team needs support.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in Automotive or Business is an asset.
• A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Find the right fit: Identify and source parts and accessories using electronic catalogues, databases, and manufacturer systems.
• Deliver great service: Assist retail customers, wholesale accounts, technicians, and the sales team with knowledgeable, friendly support.
• Keep repairs moving: Coordinate parts availability and communicate order updates with the Service Department.
• Own the details: Process orders, invoices, and internal repair requests accurately in the dealership management system.
• Keep inventory in order: Receive, stock, and organize parts; complete cycle counts; support replenishment.
• Offer solutions: Explain pricing, availability, and alternative options for informed decisions.
• Follow through: Handle returns, warranty claims, and core returns.
• Showcase what's available: Maintain displays and promote accessories and specials.
• Solve problems: Address concerns promptly and keep customers and colleagues informed.
