Principal Purpose of Position:
- Provide back-end overflow call support for the Truck Account Administrator team to address maintenance-related escalations.
- Coordinate with fleet managers, vendors, and manufacturers to resolve truck malfunctions effectively.
- Act as a technical expert and consultant to fleet managers, service technicians, and internal departments for complex escalations.
- Review and issue non-standard purchase orders to protect customer interests.
- Support the technical resource center by assisting customers and vendors as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Training:
- Four-year college degree or equivalent experience as determined by management.
- ASE or other industry certification preferred.
- Strong automotive mechanical knowledge required.
Relevant Work Experience:
- Three to five years of experience in automotive or transportation industry with advanced technical knowledge.
- Knowledge of fleet management is preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Organizational and prioritization skills with sound decision-making ability.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills for independent decision-making and financial justification.
Communication & Influencing Skills:
- Ability to work effectively with all organizational levels, including external partners.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Negotiation skills.
Outputs:
- Answer overflow calls and provide guidance for the Truck Account Administrator team.
- Provide administrative support when needed.
- Work on client-specific projects as assigned.
