The Role: The Assistant Planner/Buyer will assist their client team in the preparation of budgets, competitive and target analysis reports, media POV’s, and media proposals. This individual will also resolve billing discrepancies. This role involves collaborating with internal teams to ensure campaigns are set up, optimized, and delivering against client objectives. The Account Coordinator plays a critical role in monitoring campaign performance, providing actionable insights, and maintaining accurate reports. Ideal for someone detail-oriented and eager to grow in the fast-paced world of digital media, this role offers hands-on experience with paid search, social, and programmatic channels.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the team with pre-launch QA checks to ensure proper campaign setup, including ad copy, targeting, and tracking parameters.
  • Assist the team with monitoring campaign deliveries.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and optimization of paid search, social, and programmatic advertising campaigns across various platforms.
  • Analyze and prepare post reports and presentations.
  • Participate in client calls and meetings to provide status updates and insights, take meeting notes.
  • Utilize and understand proprietary and syndicated research tools used for planning and reporting purposes.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, platform updates, and best practices for paid search, social, and programmatic advertising.
  • Develop agency point of views on media opportunities for submission to the client.
  • Input data into MediaOcean Ad Serving platforms.
  • Resolve discrepancies within the billing process.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Attend client specific and departmental meetings.
  • Attend mandatory Agency Training.
  • Attend media training programs.
  • Attend presentations by vendors / potential vendors.
  • Participate in creative brainstorm sessions.
  • Proactively keep abreast of industry trends and share knowledge with team.
  • Assist in the compilation of marketing and media data to be used as support for implementation decisions.
  • Assist in the preparation and rationale of media recommendations and plan presentations.
