Job summary

Sudbury Hyundai is seeking an Automotive Detailer to ensure vehicles leave the lot in pristine condition and meet our high standards. You’ll work on interior and exterior detailing, operate buffers, steamers and vacuums, and help maintain accurate delivery records with a team‑driven mindset.

We offer a full‑time, permanent role with Monday–Saturday shifts, competitive hourly pay ($18–$20) and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• A sharp eye for detail and a personal standard of quality.
• Reliable, respectful, and self-motivated.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• A valid driver's licence with a clean driving record (required).
• Physical ability to stand, bend, crouch and work in confined spaces.
• Prior detailing or automotive experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors to Sudbury Hyundai standards
• Operating buffers, steamers, vacuums, hoses, and other detailing equipment
• Applying cleaning, protective, and restorative products to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance
• Completing vehicle condition inspections and maintaining accurate records
• Moving, parking, and positioning vehicles throughout the lot and delivery process
• Working in an active dealership environment — outdoor work year-round in Northern Ontario conditions, exposure to cleaning chemicals, and working in and around vehicles of all sizes

Automotive Detailer Pay Rate: $18 - 20 per hour Sudbury Hyundai

The Role

This is not a background role. Our detailers are a critical part of the delivery experience — the last set of hands on a vehicle before it goes home with a customer, and one of the first on every trade-in that comes through our doors.

From the moment a vehicle arrives at our dealership to the moment it drives away to its new owner, our detail team is entrusted with its care. If standards matter to you, and you take pride in doing things right, this is a role where that will be noticed and valued.

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Schedule: Monday to Saturday (days)
