Guelph Hyundai is seeking a Detailer to clean and detail both interior and exterior of customer vehicles to dealership standards. You will support the service team by keeping a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while delivering high-quality service.

Key duties include vacuuming, deodorizing, washing, applying sealants, and detailing wheels. Lifting and standing for long periods are required, with attention to detail and reliability essential.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
• Experience with cleaning products and power washers is an asset.
• Must be dependable with strong attention to detail and able to prioritize.
• Ability to meet physical demands (heavy lifting, long hours standing, using tools).
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.

Responsabilidades

• Detail interior and exterior of vehicles to dealership standards.
• Vacuum, deodorize, wash; ensure smudge-free exteriors.
• Detail interiors, wipe dashboards, vacuum, and wash floor mats.
• Apply paint sealant and clean/polish wheels and rims.
• Use hand-held tools to detail interior and exterior.
• Notify supervisor about parts needing repair or replacement.
• Complete quality control checklist; perform other duties as required.

Your area of focus.

The Service Department Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high-quality service.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Responsible for the detailing of interior and exterior of customer vehicles
• Perform general car detailing activities, including, vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
• Ensure the exterior of cars are clean and smudge free
• Detailing interiors, wiping dash, vacuuming, and washing floor mats
• Apply paint sealant
• Clean and polish wheels and rims
• Use a variety of hand-held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
• Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when you notice parts of car that require repair or replacement
• Complete quality control checklist
• Perform other repair duties as required

Compensation

The expected range of compensation for this position is $20 – $24 Hourly — Flat Rate. The actual compensation offered will be based on a variety of factors, including job-related knowledge, education, skills and experience.
