About The Role

Clutch is looking for an Automotive Apprentice Technician to join our team!

We’re seeking highly motivated self-starters to help ensure all vehicles meet our high mechanical standards. Working alongside our reconditioning team, you will perform vehicle inspections, maintenance, and minor repairs such as brakes, suspension, tires, batteries, etc.

Our ideal candidate has experience working on European vehicles in addition to other foreign and domestic brands. They should be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have excellent attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

1. Perform Clutch standardized vehicle inspections (stationary and road tests)
2. Diagnose and assess vehicle issues and damage
3. Make recommendations about vehicle repairs and the best course of action
4. Perform repairs and preventative maintenance, such as oil changes, suspension, and brake jobs
5. Create documentation of repairs and estimates
6. Adhere to and help improve Clutch’s high mechanical standards

We’re Looking For

1. 2+ years of automotive technician experience
2. Experience working with various car brands (domestic, import & European)
3. Team player with a collaborative attitude
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
6. Willingness to learn new skills
7. Proficiency with technology (Google Drive, Slack, etc.)
8. Valid Driver’s License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
