Job summary

Citibank (Switzerland) AG is seeking an Automation QA professional for a Hybrid role in Mississauga. You will maintain and extend our automation framework, perform UI and API testing, and collaborate with cross‑location teams to ensure quality across services.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of QA experience, strong Java/Python, Kubernetes and SQL skills, and hands-on BDD framework expertise using Cucumber, Selenium, Cypress, or Mocha. Loan IQ experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in software testing or QA.
• 3+ years experience with Java, Python, Kubernetes, SQL.
• 3+ years hands-on experience and strong coding skills in at least one modern language – Java, Python, or C#.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience in building BDD automation framework using Cucumber Selenium, Cypress, or Mocha.
• Good understanding of databases and object-oriented design.
• Familiar with tools like Postman, JIRA, Zephyr, GitHub, Jenkins.
• Basic knowledge of how microservice based architectures work.
• Knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Good communication skills.
• Prefer candidates having prior experience in Loan IQ.

Responsibilities

• Creates, maintains, and executes automated UI and API tests.
• Build tools to improve the testability of software.
• Performs functional, regression and end-to-end tests to ensure systems meet end-user requirements.
• Works with stakeholders to develop and review test plans, test cases and scripts.
• Identifies defects and performs root cause analyses; escalates blockers timely.
• Implements process improvements for testing activities.
• Assess risk in business decisions and safeguard Citi’s assets.
• Use GitHub and other AI-assisted tools to improve speed and coverage.
