ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc is seeking a Project Manager in Vaughan, Canada to lead complex automation projects from intake to installation and customer acceptance. You will manage projects over $1 million, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and serve as the primary customer contact while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires hands-on knowledge of robots, PLCs, instrumentation, and machine controls, with AutoCAD proficiency.

Qualifications

• The candidate should have an engineering degree or equivalent with project leadership experience.
• Experience managing automation projects over $1 million with multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of robots, PLCs, instrumentation, sensors, and pneumatics required.
• AutoCAD or similar drawing package familiarity is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams to deliver contracted scope on time and within budget.
• Serve as main customer contact and document key events and issues.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks with risk plans.
• Plan projects, budgets, and resources; oversee schedules.
• Monitor progress and manage contract changes; handle invoicing and payments.
• Prepare forecasts and management reports; mentor the team.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance; enforce PPE rules.
