Job summary

Tolmar is seeking an Automation Engineer II to support installation, upgrades, and compliance for automation equipment at its Colorado Windsor sites. You’ll design, troubleshoot, generate lifecycle documentation, and perform IQ/OQ/PQ activities, while managing change controls and data requests.

You will program controllers, HMIs, SCADA, and historians, analyze data, and drive project delivery within budget and schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of equipment automation or computer system experience in regulated industry.
• Experience with GMP/ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and identify and implement process improvements on automation equipment and systems.
• Monitor and maintain automation equipment and systems in a validated state per regulatory requirements.
• Initiate, assess, manage and own change controls for automated equipment and computer systems.
• Author/edit technical lifecycle documentation (URS, DS, FS, CS, SOPs) and participate in IQ/OQ/PQ.
• Program and configure controllers, HMIs, SCADA and historian data collectors.
• Compile data, generate reports, and support process improvement initiatives and CAPA.
