Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems, Pedestrian Door Solutions in Mississauga is seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and upgrade automated pedestrian doors at customer sites. You will handle electro-mechanical issues, low-voltage wiring, and glazing-related tasks while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The role requires AAADM certification, a valid driver’s license (G License preferred), and a strong safety focus.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude with experience repairing electro-mechanical devices.
Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring.
Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred.
Valid driver’s license and a good driving record; G License.
High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Responsibilities

Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues involving electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic.
Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring.
Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors, providing exceptional service at every interaction.
Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification.
Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training.
