Job summary

Allegion in Montreal, Quebec, is seeking a Service Technician for Stanley Access Technologies to service and maintain automatic doors and related electro/mechanical equipment. You will perform preventative maintenance, complete repairs, and keep meticulous service records while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, the ability to work independently, a valid driver's license, and physical ability to climb ladders and lift up to 75

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Frequent climbing of ladders and standing on concrete.
• Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights/weekends or on-call.

Responsibilities

• Service and perform preventative maintenance for Stanley automatic doors and related equipment.
• Perform service and repair work as designated in a profitable and proper manner.
• Record productive time versus travel time.
• Maintain accurate work records and parts used at each job.
• Keep manuals up to date and stay informed about equipment changes.
• Maintain company vehicles and tools in proper condition.
• Maintain inventory of parts for service vehicle.
• Provide excellent customer relations and service.
• Assist and instruct others in install/service methods.
