Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB is seeking an Installation Technician in Calgary to diagnose, install, and service automatic pedestrian doors. You will work on sliding, swinging, and rotating doors, ensuring safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in storefront door installation or related industry.
• Must be able to obtain AAADM certification within six months of employment and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Install and service sliding, swinging, and rotating doors following manufacturers’ procedures.
• Document work performed, time spent, and any issues or shortages on-site.
• Ensure safety, wear PPE, and communicate clearly with customers and contractors.
• Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repairs, and upgrades on automated pedestrian doors.
