Excellence Auto Collision - Midwest in Toronto, ON is seeking an Autobody Technician 310B to repair and restore vehicles damaged in accidents. You will inspect damage, replace damaged parts, refinish surfaces and ensure safety and quality standards are met.

As a 310B licensed journeyman, you’ll work with a fast-paced team, review repair cost estimates, perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles, and follow manufacturer repair/refinishing processes.

Qualifications

• 310B licensed journeyman body technician
• Completion of a related post-secondary program and/or training
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes
• Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
• I-CAR certification training and certification would be considered assets
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed
• Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job

Your area of focus.

The Autobody Technician 310B is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or collisions. This includes inspecting and evaluating damage, removing and replacing damaged parts, repairing dents, refinishing surfaces, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards.
