Job summary

Excellence Auto Collision Heritage, part of AutoCanada, is seeking a 310B Body Technician in Markham, ON. You will repair and restore vehicles damaged in accidents, inspect damage, replace parts, and ensure repairs meet safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include reviewing damage reports, estimating costs, performing quality repairs, and finishing surfaces with painting techniques. Must have a valid license and related training, with I-CAR as a plus.

Qualifications

• 310B Licensed Journeyman Body Technician is required.
• Post-secondary program or related training is required.
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes and adherence to processes is required.
• Ability to use vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively is expected.
• I-CAR certification training is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving history.

Responsibilities

• Review damage reports and plan repair work.
• Perform quality repairs on a range of vehicles.
• Mask, prime and paint body surfaces using spray guns and sanders.
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion, dimensions, and paint quality.

Your area of focus.

The 310B Body Technician is responsible for repairing and restoring vehicles that have been damaged in accidents or collisions. This includes inspecting and evaluating damage, removing and replacing damaged parts, repairing dents, refinishing surfaces, and ensuring all repairs meet safety and quality standards.

What drives your day-to-day?

• Review damage reports, prepare and review repair cost estimates and plan work to be performed
• Perform quality repairs on a variety of vehicles
• Mask and tape, prime and paint body surfaces, using tools such as paint spray guns and motorized sanders
• Inspect repaired vehicles for proper completion of work, dimensional accuracy, and overall appearance of paint job

• Completion of a related post-secondary program and or training courses
• Knowledge of manufacturers' repair/refinishing processes & adherence to processes
• Ability to use selected vendor materials efficiently and cost-effectively
• I-CAR certification training and I-CAR certification would be considered assets
• Must possess a valid driver's license and a safe driving history
