Job summary

Craftsman Collision is seeking a full-time Autobody Technician for our Salmon Arm, BC location. Our team is part of Canada's largest independently owned auto body repair chain, offering a collaborative, values-driven environment.

Earn from $30 to $35 per hour, with an additional $3/hour in performance bonuses, plus signing bonus or relocation assistance within Canada. Benefits include extended health, dental, life insurance, development opportunities, and Ford aluminum certification at all

Qualifications

• Red seal certification or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency in the English language.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Valid class 5 driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Review damage report and estimates of repair cost and plan work to be performed.
• Clean and maintain workspace.
• Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame and underbody components.
• File, grind and sand body surfaces to be repaired.
• Hammer out dents, buckles and defects using blocks and hammers.
• Remove damaged fenders, panels and grills and bolt or weld replacement parts into place.
• Repair or replace interior components.
• Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive for proper handling.
• Straighten bent frames using frame and underbody pulling and anchoring equipment.
• Extended health benefits and certified training provided.
