Job summary

CSN Azorcan in Terrace, BC is seeking an Autobody Technician to restore vehicles to pre-accident condition with high-quality repairs. The role offers a FLAT RATE with the opportunity to earn an additional production bonus based on efficiency.

You will assist with disassembly, follow OEM procedures, and calibrate modules as necessary, while collaborating with teammates in a fast-paced environment to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician.
• Journeyperson or Red Seal certification required.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for repair tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disassembly and the production process, mentoring other technicians.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and perform pre/post-scan calibration as needed.
• Work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Deliver high-quality workmanship on repaired vehicles.
• Attend daily or weekly production meetings.
• Adhere to safety protocols while working on vehicles.
• Perform heavy lifting as required.

CSN Azorcanis looking for a skilled Autobody Technician in Terrace, BC. In this role, you will contribute to restoring vehicles to pre-accident condition while delivering high-quality repairs that support exceptional customer satisfaction.

Overview/Responsibilities:

• Assisting with disassembly and the overall production and mentor other technicians.
• An understanding of vehicle systems and technology and the need to look up and follow OEM repair procedures as well as pre and post-scan of all vehicles and calibrate modules as necessary.
• A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment.
• A demonstrated positive, work ethic and take pride in delivering a quality repaired vehicle
• The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines.
• The ability to perform equipment audits to check for acceptable performance and detect faults and possible malfunctions.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently
• Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle parts and equipment
• Collaborate with team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles

Requirements:

• Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician.
• Journeyperson or Red Seal certification required.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work.
• Preparing vehicles and vehicle parts for painting.
• Masking and sanding of vehicles and parts prior to painting.
• Buffing, wet sanding and polishing of painted vehicles.
• Attend all daily and/or weekly production meetings.
• Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship.
