Job summary

Island Autobody & Repair is seeking a skilled technician to assess vehicle damage and plan repairs. You will execute full-cycle body repairs, including panel replacement, frame straightening, surface preparation, refinishing and color matching in Campbell River.

The role offers seasonal employment with part-time hours leading to full-time, and requires 1 year to less than 2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school completion or equivalent experience.
• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in related work.
• Own transportation and valid driver’s license are required.

Responsibilities

• Assess vehicle damage and plan repairs.
• Execute full-cycle body repairs including panel replacement and frame straightening.
• Perform body refinishing, paint spraying and color matching as needed.
• Inspect completed work and test drive vehicles to ensure quality.
