Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria is seeking a motivated Sales Advisor to guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process, from inquiry to delivery. You will learn, demonstrate Subaru vehicles, and tailor options to customer needs, while delivering a professional buying experience.

Responsibilities include responding to inquiries, conducting walkarounds, explaining features and financing, finalizing deals, and managing CRM-driven follow-ups.

Introduction

Jim Pattison Subaru Victoria is seeking a motivated, personable, and customer-focused Sales Advisor to join our dealership team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is comfortable with technology, and takes pride in delivering an excellent customer experience. Automotive sales experience is an asset but not required. We also welcome candidates with strong customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills who are eager to learn.

Position Details

• Employment: Full-time, permanent
• Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Includes evenings and weekends
• Compensation: Variable commission structure
• Reports to: Sales Manager

The Opportunity

As a Sales Advisor, you will guide customers through the vehicle purchasing process, from their first inquiry to final delivery. You will get to know their needs, introduce them to the right Subaru vehicles, walk them through available options, and ensure a smooth and professional buying experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to customer inquiries in person, by phone, and online
• Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable vehicles
• Conducting vehicle walkarounds, demonstrations, and test drives
• Explaining vehicle features, pricing, and available financing options
• Collaborating with management to structure and finalize vehicle deals
• Managing leads and customer follow-ups through CRM systems
• Accurately documenting customer information and sales activity
• Coordinating vehicle deliveries and ensuring a positive handover experience
• Staying up to date on Subaru products, technology, features, and industry trends
• Building long-term customer relationships that drive repeat business
• Working with the dealership team to achieve shared goals

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to obtain a VSA licence
• Previous automotive, retail, sales, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
