Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Halifax, Canada is seeking a Retail Parts Pro to deliver best-in-class customer service and resolve DIY issues. You will assist customers in-store, on-line, and by phone, while maintaining stock, cleanliness, and a safe work environment.

The role requires automotive knowledge, English communication, basic math and the ability to work Saturdays. Previous parts experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills and DIY issue resolution knowledge.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Spanish language skills a plus.
• Ability to work in a retail environment.
• Good math and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Best in class customer service and DIY issue resolution.
• Provide a positive selling experience for all DIY customers including walk-in, online orders and phone.
• Achieve personal/store sales goals and service objectives.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and store appearance.
• Key holder responsibilities (task assignment and completion, safety, open/close duties).
• Assist in store inventory processes including POGs, truck put away, shoot outs, cycle counts, back stock, etc.
• Back Up to Professional services.
• Store cleanliness including floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting.
