Job summary

AWIN - North York Kia in the Greater Toronto Area is seeking a Parts Consultant to join our team. The role handles parts inquiries from customers and technicians, over the counter and by phone, while promoting the full product line and maintaining accurate records.

You will assist with stock, displays, and paperwork, ensuring high standards of service and a clean work area. Competitive pay and generous benefits accompany growth opportunities within the AWIN group.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a retail auto parts department.
• Proficient in CDK and Reynolds and Reynolds software systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Able to adapt to a changing environment and work under pressure.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist internal and external customers with parts needs.
• Ensure customers are aware of the full product line and accessories.
• Follow cash handling procedures and payment methods.
• Check parts against delivery notes, bin, and sign delivery notes.
• Pack and load parts, track dispatch documentation.
• Report stock damage or losses to the Parts Manager.
• Maintain displays and assist in stock checks.
• Keep the work area clean and maintain supplier relationships.
• Attend training and stay up-to-date on products.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.
