Qualifications

• 3–5 years of customer service experience.
• Experience in auto claims processing preferred.
• Knowledge of policy interpretation.
• Proficient keyboard skills and computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Manage repairable physical damage claims from assignment through resolution.
• Complete timely customer contact and clearly explain the claim and repair process.
• Review coverage, loss details, damages, estimates, and supporting documentation.
• Make appropriate liability and coverage decisions within role authority.
• Coordinate with appraisers, repair facilities, rental providers, insureds, and third parties to move claims forward.
• Monitor repairs, supplements, rental needs, payments, and outstanding activities.
• Maintain accurate and timely claim documentation, including clear file notes and next steps.
• Identify potential fraud/SIU indicators, coverage concerns, or other red flags and elevate appropriately.
• Recognize when a claim is potentially a Total Loss or Complex Claim and transfer/escalate promptly.
• Maintain ownership of assigned PD claims and proactively follow up to avoid delays.
• Deliver a positive customer experience through clear communication and timely follow-up.
• Follow established claims handling guidelines, authority levels, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
