Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass in Canada seeks an experienced Estimator to prepare accurate repair estimates, coordinate vehicle repairs with customers and insurance providers, and maintain high standards of customer service. The role involves collaboration with management, adherence to industry guidelines, and ongoing training to advance in a fast-paced collision repair environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with Mitchell, Audatex, Alldata, APU, Progi, and Car-Part preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance processes and DRP procedures helpful.

Responsibilities

• Create repair estimates using Audatex and Mitchell accurately.
• Coordinate repairs and communicate with customers and insurers throughout the process.
• Update ASE with relevant details from customer interactions.
• Guide customers through the repair process and deliver excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with insurer requirements and WOW operating standards.
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings.
• Maintain KPI targets for sales, gross profit, CSI, and AR.

The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal.
