Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage, generating estimates in Audatex and Mitchell, and coordinating repairs with customers and insurance providers. You’ll work on a busy, professional team within The Boyd Group, applying the latest repair procedures and KPIs to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with shop software.
• DRP compliance knowledge and at least 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Update ASE with pertinent details from every customer interaction.
• Provide accurate information and guide customers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance programs and processes.
• Participate in daily production walks with management.
• Create estimates using Audatex and Mitchell following guidelines.
• Maintain KPIs for sales, GP, CSI and AR.

Job Summary

The Estimator’s primary responsibility and accountability is to provide an exceptional and successful customer experience while creating estimates, coordinating repair needs for customers including all communication, informing and updating customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses the damage of vehicles and documents needed repairs and parts replacement on the damage appraisal. The Estimator plays a pivotal role in the success of the customer’s experience by ensuring they are working in alignment with all team members in achieving the repair facility's KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

• Ensure ASE is updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details from every customer interaction
• Provide Customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring that they receive excellent customer service
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics
• Ensure compliance with all WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members
• Provides positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understanding of all required Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily “production walks” with the Management Team, as required
• Support all team members when required
• Participate in monthly Health & Safety and staff meeting (if required)
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager
• Maintain the Assured KPI’s by maximizing role performance (Sales/ GP/ NP/ CSI/ AR/ CT&TT)

• Creating estimates in Audatex and Mitchell estimating systems following the latest guidelines and OEM repair procedures

Minimum Education And/or Experience Required For The Job

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s Minimum of 1-year experience

$65,000 - $70,000 per year
