Job summary

Boyd Autobody & Glass is hiring an Auto Body Technician to repair body panels, disassemble and reassemble vehicles, and replace damaged interior and exterior parts. The role involves frame equipment use, structural assessments, and achieving KPI targets with a focus on quality and safety.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of Auto Body experience, MIG/TIG welding skills, and post-secondary Auto Body training. Red Seal or 310B is preferred, with I-Car progress welcomed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of post-secondary Auto Body Repair Program.
• Minimum 3 years Auto Body Technician experience.
• MIG and TIG welding experience required.
• Red Seal or 310B preferred.
• I-Car Registered (working toward Gold Class) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair damage to vehicle body panels.
• Disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicles.
• Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components, and accessories.
• Remove and install welded and sectioned parts to vehicles.
• Assess and repair structural components of vehicles.
• Use frame equipment to ensure proper alignment.
