Job summary

Woodview Mental Health & Autism Services seeks an hourly Instructor Therapist for Halton Autism Services. You will work with children, youth, and families across centre, home, and community settings, delivering individualized and group supports.

Role involves evening and weekend shifts with a typical Monday–Friday schedule, starting in October 2026. Experience with autism and data-driven program delivery are required, with flexible scheduling and potential for growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Professional experience working with children with autism
• Knowledge of principles obtained through completion of the Autism and Behavioural Sciences certificate (or equivalent)
• Access to a vehicle, valid driver’s licence, and vehicle insurance (ability to transport clients)

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group services with children and youth with autism
• Implement programs under supervision as part of a team
• Maintain accurate data and create materials for clients
• Contribute to a positive, team-based working environment
• Cover sessions during vacations and staff illness in addition to scheduled sessions
