Job summary
The Surrey Early Speech and Language Program (SESLP) seeks a dedicated Behavioural Interventionist to deliver one-to-one intervention plans for children with ASD and related behaviours. Reporting to the Behavioural Consultant, you will implement programs developed by a multidisciplinary team and support families across home and school settings.
Applicants should have a high school diploma or related post-secondary training; college degrees in psychology, education, or related fields are
Qualifications
- High school diploma or diploma/certificate in Human Services field; ECE preferred.
- College diploma or bachelor’s degree preferred in Psychology, Education, CYC, Social Work, or related fields.
- Training in Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) required or preferred.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with families and professionals to support clients.
- Adhere to policies and accreditation standards.
- Provide behavioral education and support to families and children with ASD or behavior regulation challenges.
- Prepare home and preschool programs and maintain progress records.
