Job summary

Baker Tilly KDN LLP in Lindsay, Ontario is seeking a Manager, Assurance & Audit to lead a range of Audit and Review engagements, mentor teams, and drive high‑quality client service with professional judgment.

You will manage engagement planning, budgeting, and deadlines, promote the firm’s services, develop new opportunities, and help our clients navigate accounting standards while fostering a collaborative workplace culture.

Qualifications

• CPA/CA designation with at least 5 years’ public accounting experience.
• Experience with owner‑managed businesses and private enterprises.
• Minimum of 2 years in a progressive management role with a CPA firm.
• Strong leadership and client service skills.
• Proven track record of planning and executing Audit engagements on time and budget.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, execution, and completion of Audit and Review engagements.
• Manage engagement process including planning, execution, and finalization with deadlines and deliverables.
• Manage project financials including budgets, WIP, and timely billing.
• Coach, mentor, and develop assigned employees for high performance and professional growth.
• Share technical knowledge and facilitate ongoing training within the Assurance team.
• Engage with all levels of the team and contribute to firm‑wide initiatives.
