Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (CPA, CA)
• 1–2 years of management experience at a progressive public accounting firm with private company clients
• Proven track record leading audit engagements for private companies
• Solid ASPE knowledge and application of standards/regulations
• Exposure to Canadian tax and client-focused service

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements from planning through completion for private company clients
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory review
• Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans
• Analyze financial statements for accuracy and GAAP adherence
• Mentor audit teams and develop staff
• Communicate audit findings and recommendations clearly to clients
• Oversee WIP management and budget monitoring
• Contribute to continuous improvement of audit methodologies
