A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN INSULATION LABOURER/INSTALLER

As an Insulation Labourer/Installer, you'll work with a team to improve the energy efficiency of homes by installing attic insulation. Your day will start by loading materials and preparing job sites for installation. You'll use specialized equipment to apply insulation, ensuring proper coverage and thickness. Throughout the day, you'll work in various environments, including tight spaces and heights, while following safety guidelines to protect yourself and your team. You'll also assist in cleanup, maintain tools and equipment, and help troubleshoot any installation challenges. Whether you're working in a residential attic or a commercial building, every day brings new sites, new challenges, and the satisfaction of knowing your work helps improve energy efficiency and comfort for customers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Hardworking, reliable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable with physical labor and working in tight or elevated spaces
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift and carry materials as required
