This is an excellent opportunity for a senior assurance professional with a strong public accounting background who is looking to take on a leadership role within an established and growing firm.

Qualifications

• CPA designation required and CPA firm experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 years of management-level experience in public accounting.
• Minimum 3 years at Senior Manager level.
• Strong Canadian public accounting experience focusing on assurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a portfolio of assurance engagements.
• Oversee engagements from planning through completion.
• Review financial statements, working papers, and engagement documentation.
• Provide accounting and assurance advice to owner-managed businesses.
• Develop relationships with clients and partners.
• Mentor managers and staff and contribute to quality control.
• Participate in business development activities.
• Stay current with Canadian accounting standards.
