Job Title: Associate, Product Manager, Debit Card

Location: Markham, Ontario

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are seeking a results-oriented Associate, Product Manager, Debit Card to support the Bank’s personal banking strategy and payment product development. This role supports the end-to-end management of debit card and related payment products, including product development, enhancement, implementation, performance monitoring, customer experience, and ongoing lifecycle management.

The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to support product initiatives, improve the customer experience, maintain strong regulatory and operational standards, and contribute to the growth and development of the Bank’s debit card and payment services.

What You Will Do

• Support the end-to-end management of debit card and related payment products, including product development, enhancement, implementation, performance monitoring, and ongoing optimization.
• Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, industry trends, and opportunities to enhance the Bank’s debit card and payment offerings.
• Collaborate with IT, Operations, Compliance, Risk Management, and other internal stakeholders to support product initiatives, system enhancements, and implementation projects.
• Support the development and maintenance of product documentation, procedures, operating guidelines, and other product-related materials.
• Monitor product performance, customer feedback, transaction data, and operational results and recommend enhancements to improve customer experience and business performance.
• Support product marketing campaigns, promotional initiatives, and customer communications related to debit card and payment products.
• Assist in ensuring debit card products and related processes comply with applicable regulatory requirements, payment network rules, and internal policies.
• Support product testing, implementation, issue resolution, and post-launch monitoring for new products and enhancements.
• Coordinate with external vendors and payment network partners as required to support product operations and development.
• Provide ongoing product support and communications to branches and internal stakeholders.

What You Bring to the Table

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Minimun 3 years of experience in retail or personal banking or a related financial services environment.
• Familiarity with bank card products, payment products, or related banking processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to review product and business data and identify actionable insights.
• Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and product initiatives.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced banking environment and adapt to changing business requirements.
• Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese is required to support regular business communication and coordination with Mandarin-speaking Head Office and cross-border stakeholders.
