The Associate Product Manager is an integral member of the ISE (Issuer Services Excellence)/ LINX squad and has primary responsibility for writing and maintaining functional requirements for new products within the Capital Formation business units. As a member of a high performing Agile squad, the squad member is an inquisitive and collaborative teammate that can wear many hats to meet team goals.

Reports to: Senior Manager and Squad Lead, Listed Issuer Services

Key Accountabilities:

Business Analysis/Product Development:

  • Define and document requirements in the form of Agile user stories, acting as the voice of the customer

  • Collaborate with the squad and stakeholders to gather, confirm and document requirements

  • Serve as TMX LINX systems usage expert, for both business partners and the squad

  • Provide BA support to squad members daily, clarifying and iterating on requirements as sprints progress

  • Maintain product specifications and ensure related product documentation, client facing collateral are up to date

  • Participate in story refinement, estimation and all Agile ceremonies, leading where needed

  • Assist Squad Lead in researching and investigating new product opportunities, and mapping out the product roadmap

Quality Assurance:

  • Help identify and document the release’s higher-risk aspects, set priorities, and determine scope and limitations of tests

  • Execute tests and document test results analyzing test outputs to investigate discrepancies and track issues through to closure following all QA procedures

Must haves:

  • Post secondary education in Business Administration, Information Systems or Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 3-5 years experience working with complex technology systems, ideally in the financial sector as a Business Analyst or Product Manager or related discipline

  • Strong software development, related business analysis skill and experience

  • Sharp investigative, analysis and problem solving skills

  • Work collaboratively with all stakeholders and have a genuine interest for the team's success

  • Skilled in requirement gathering/management while being meticulous and detailed

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, diagramming)

  • Showcase organization, flexibility and working through ambiguity

Nice to haves:

  • Business knowledge of financial industry, capital markets

  • Previous experience of Agile methodologies

Note: Hybrid role with 2 days in the Toronto office
