Job summary

RBC Dominion Securities in Trois-Rivières is seeking an Associate to provide ongoing service and support to clients and the advisory team. You will help deepen relationships, welcome new clients, and ensure accounts are accurate and compliant, working with an Investment Advisor on portfolios and wealth planning.

You will manage client communications, prepare meeting materials, and coordinate onboarding while staying current on internal controls and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • CIRE is required.
  • Proficient in French.
  • Minimum 2 years in securities industry.
  • Strong MS 365 knowledge.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management.
  • World-class client service skills.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly (transactions, documentation, reporting).
  • Provide proactive client service and coordinate with internal teams for solutions.
  • Manage incoming communications from clients, advisors, and partners.
  • Assist advisory team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Coordinate and prepare meetings for advisors with clients and prospects.
  • Ensure client files meet internal controls and regulatory requirements.
  • Update team communication channels (website, LinkedIn, brochures, newsletters).

The RBC Dominion Securities Trois-Rivières branch is looking for a resourceful, efficient, and collaborative individual to join our leading wealth management firm as an Associate.

By providing ongoing, exceptional service and support to our clients and our advisory team, you will help our team deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm. As an invaluable internal and external point of contact, you will play a key role in maintaining client accounts, ensuring account administration and documentation remain up to date and compliant, and working with an Investment Advisor in managing client portfolios and wealth management planning opportunities.

What will you do?
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients. You will be responsible for managing timelines and key dates for accounts to help ensure clients feel supported by our team.
  • Respond to client inquiries in an understanding and time-efficient manner (account transactions, requests, account documentation, account reporting, etc.).
  • Tap into your superior problem resolution skills to provide proactive client service. Working collaboratively, you will at times liaise with various departments to provide smooth and timely solutions.
  • Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, advisors and other internal and external partners.
  • Assist the advisory team in welcoming and onboarding new clients.
  • Leverage your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for advisors with their clients/prospects.
  • Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation are accurate, up to date, and compliant.
  • Draw on your social media skills to update the team’s communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, newsletters.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • Canadian Investment Regulatory Exam (CIRE)
  • Mastery of the French language
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the securities industry
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients
