RBC in Ottawa is seeking an Associate Director, Real Estate to support Directors in the Real Estate Markets group. You will analyze and underwrite loan requests using the Risk Assessment Framework, compile financial information, and prepare credit submissions for the credit group.
The role starts as an intern/training position with opportunities to grow within a dynamic, client-focused team in Canada’s capital.
As an Associate Director, Real Estate, you will be required to support Directors in the Bank's Real Estate Markets group. You will be responsible for analyzing and underwriting new loan requests with the use of the Bank's Risk Assessment Framework, Financial Analysis and Credit Tools. The primary responsibility of the Associate Director is to compile financial information and prepare credit submissions to the Bank's credit group. Other responsibilities of the Associate Director include: daily administration of the Group's lending portfolio; performing annual credit reviews of the existing portfolio; liaise both internally and externally with various stakeholders in the credit process; and actively participate in other team initiatives (industry research reports / ad hoc portfolio strategy requests / portfolio reporting management).
