Job description

CentreCourt is seeking an Associate to join our development platform in a high-impact, performance-driven role designed for exceptional early-career talent. This position offers broad exposure to large-scale, mixed-use high-rise residential projects across the Greater Toronto Area and direct access to senior leadership from day one.

Associates work alongside CentreCourt’s Partners across the full development lifecycle – from acquisitions, zoning approvals and design coordination through sales and marketing, financing, construction, and final condominium closings or rental lease-up. The role provides meaningful involvement in both strategic decision-making and cross-functional execution across Acquisitions, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Development, Construction, and Customer Care.

This is a demanding role suited for intellectually curious, entrepreneurial individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments and are motivated by ownership and accountability. Associates are expected to think critically, operate with sound business judgment, and grow into leaders capable of making key business decisions independently and with full accountability.

Ideal candidates bring 2–4 years of strong analytical experience, a top-tier academic background, and a genuine long-term interest in real estate development. We are looking for confident, self-directed individuals with an ownership mindset – people who take initiative, manage complexity, and contribute meaningfully to corporate outcomes while always maintaining a low ego mindset.

Key Responsibilities

From the outset, the successful candidate will work closely with CentreCourt’s Partners across a wide range of high-impact initiatives, including:

  • Prepare financial analysis and development pro formas to support decision-makingacross the full development lifecycle, including acquisitions, rezoning, design development, sales/leasing strategy, pre-construction planning, tendering, and construction
  • Support cross-functional execution across Acquisitions, Development, Sales & Marketing, Finance, Construction, and Customer Care to help ensure projects remain aligned, on schedule, and within budget
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues, escalate appropriately, and contribute to the development and execution of mitigation strategies
  • Support the planning and execution of project launches and marketing programs, coordinating consultants and internal stakeholders to ensure readiness and quality of materials
  • Collaborate closely with the Development & Construction teams to assist with strategic decision-making in respect of design, municipal processes, tendering processes, budgeting updates, schedule tracking, and cost oversight
  • Draft persuasive advocacy and legal agreements and other supporting documentation for review by senior team members
  • Support a high level of financial controls and oversee partnership reporting requirements.
  • Apply strong analytical skills and sound judgment to deliver clear, well-supported recommendations to senior leadership

The role demands an extremely high level of commitment and flexibility, offering in return a uniquely engaging experience and an accelerated professional growth trajectory.

The Right Candidate
Experience & Education
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in Business (e.g., B. Comm., MBA) from a top-tier institution and/or a law degree from a leading law school (e.g., JD or JD/MBA)
  • Demonstrated record of academic and extracurricular excellence
  • 2–4 years of work experience in investment banking, real estate, private equity, management consulting, law, accounting, or a similarly rigorous, analytical, and fast-paced business environment
  • Proven history of high performance, strong ownership of projects, and progressively increasing responsibilities
  • Experience managing complex workstreams, problem-solving without a predefined playbook, and incorporating feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to grow within a high-performing, flat, meritocratic organization
  • Self‑motivated and capable of operating independently within a lean, collaborative team structure
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, coupled with sound judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including strong financial modeling and analytical capabilities
