As the Assistant to the Category Manager, you will support the Category Manager in all aspects of the merchandise buying process, aligned with division strategy. Your daily activities will include analysis, report preparation, and merchandise procurement.

How will you support the team?

• Assist in managing OTB by class/supplier on an ongoing basis.
• Provide monthly and seasonal analysis of the business for planning purposes.
• Create Storyboards.
• Create Purchase Orders and implement modifications (e.g., cost adjustments).
• Follow up on repeats, inquiries about availability, discounts, and deliveries.
• Maintain professional relationships with vendors.
• Execute Re-SKUs and recalls.
• Review Style Cards or V-listing weekly to monitor style performance and recommend actions.
• Track delivery and shipping of orders, reporting delays or issues.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Fit Departments on quality control issues.
• Organize samples, swatches, and marketing materials by contacting vendors/stores/Distribution Centre.
